PHP - Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial Hospitalization ProgramOur Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) operates five days a week, a minimum of four hours per day. This highly structured program focuses on integrating evidence-based interventions coupled with access to holistic resources. During this program, clients have access to medication management with our psychiatrist, increased one on one sessions with their primary therapist and expansive integration into our daily programming.

PHP is ideal for individuals that may not meet the criteria for inpatient treatment but really need the daily structured support of daily programming and attendance to their symptoms. Alternatively, clients that have been participating in an intensive residential program might continue to require a supportive team in the course of stepping down.

PHP TREATMENT MODALITIES

We think of treating the whole person and system. PHP offers greater opportunities for clients to integrate loved ones into their treatment plan and find resources outside of themselves to succeed. Modalities such a family therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, individual therapy, and case management are so critical in helping the client continue to find stability within their system. In addition, we offer the following:

Psychiatric Services Available

Our Psychiatrist provides assessments and ongoing medication management for those participating in our PHP. We have found that by having such support, clients are able to be attended to in real time while in treatment. Having such accessibility allows us to fully attend to the client’s needs while in our care.

Brainspotting and Trauma Informed Treatment

Individuals that need to address their trauma will have greater opportunities while in PHP to participate in brainspotting. A growing evidence based modality that is centered around the tenets of EMDR, yet provide greater flexibility, accessibility to address symptoms outside of trauma and immediate results to help the client feel more grounded and in control. Brainspotting Therapy does require a special certification and we are proud that we are able to offer such an intervention through our very talented therapists.

Trauma informed treatment is the understanding of how each individual projects their experiences into the greater world. In other words, recognizing that an individuals expression of their trauma can look different from person to person. Utilizing such an awareness while in treatment allows our multi-disciplinary team the opportunity to collaborate and problem solve in a more effective manner. Offering coping skills that are going to be useful and relevant to your specific situation.

Individual Therapy

Increasing your opportunities to sit with an individual therapist is a key component while in PHP. By offering clients additional sessions, we can get to the core of your symptoms more effectively and in less time. It also allows increased opportunities to incorporate family sessions with loved ones that could benefit from increased support and education.

Systemic Therapy

Vantage Point takes extraordinary efforts to incorporate the family system and your loved ones into your treatment plan. What they can offer is an extended support system throughout the course of treatment and aftercare. By treating the whole system, a client does not have to feel alone in what to do next. Working closely together empowers everyone to feel as though they have an opportunity to feel success within their next steps.
